Update in the Brown life.
Alex is living in Orem for the summer, working at Mt. View Staging. It's good money, but hard to be apart. He is having fun traveling all over though, last month he went to Canada and California.
Unfortunately, it seems that a long distance relationship is a tad more difficult once you've lived together. We're having trouble adjusting to the distance; I guess we've forgotten how to type out our life rather than talk it out- if that makes sense.
I am living in our house in Cedar City. I work at the Community Engagement Center, University College and am an intern at a Law Office. I am also taking a legal research class this summer. I am enjoying my internship, and even though I am not interested in Family Law, I am learning a lot. I wish all this kept me busy enough not to be lonely, but doesn't. Oh well. I do have a list of projects that I want to do this summer, and every once in a while I get in the mood to be creative and do something off the list. So far, I framed a picture that I painted in a creative way, and made two bird baths from lamp bases and light fixtures. They turned out pretty cute, so I am happy with them. I also grew a plant from a seed for the first time ever; which I am really excited about. I am still waiting for it to bloom. I am also considering creating a little garden on my patio in big planters. I do have garden space, but I don't want to weed it/maintain it/set up a watering system. I think if I do barrels then it will be simpler for a first time garden.
Alex and I are thinking seriously about spending the Spring semester in Greece. We need to figure out if we want to do a house swap or rent it out. Both options have their pros and cons.
This is brief, but I don't have much to say. I hope all is well with you!
