As the summer is coming to an end, I figured I should update my blog.
I didn't do  very many fun activities this summer, I mostly worked and went to school.  Alex and I were both able to attend my family reunion, which was nice.
Alex has been living in Orem for the summer, while I have been in Cedar City, for financial reasons.  Unfortunately, we recently found out that our financial aid was less than expected, and we can only afford for one of us to go to school next semester.  Because of this, Alex is going to continue to live in Orem for the next 4 months, while I live in Cedar City until we can find him full time work down here.  I have to admit, the long distance thing is hard, and neither of us enjoy it- but you've got to do what you've got to do.
I plan  on taking a very heavy course load- I got signed off to take 23- and working at my two jobs in order to stay busy.  I have found staying busy helps the time to go by faster.
Alex and I will be doing a semester abroad in Greece in January.  We will most likely have a scholarship for our flights, so really, living there will be cheaper than living how we are now.  We're very excited for this new cultural experience, and are getting all of our ducks in a row now.
Alex and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary.  He came down the weekend before and we went to Las Vegas.  We saw Phantom of the Opera and spend a lot of time just enjoying each other's company.
